Persian: storage is excellent with a spicy flavour.
Yugoslavian: storage is excellent with a naturally sweet flavour.
Music: The majority of garlic grown in ontario, storage is good with a medium strength.
Russian: storage is good with a red colour and a little hotter.

Garlic is a plant in the allium family like onions,shallots and leeks.
Most of the health effects are caused by one of the sulphur compounds formed when garlic is chopped,crushed or chewed. The compound is known as allicin. Garlic is low in calories and incredibly nutritious. Garlic contains high amounts of vitamin C, manganese and vitamin B6. It also has decent amounts of selenium,calcium,copper, potassium, iron and vitamin B1. In fact garlic contains a bit of everything we need.
